OUR MISSION

We believe that it truly "takes a village." In practical terms it just means that individuals and groups should work together to support and care for each other, promote social harmony, and achieve shared goals. "It takes a Village" implies that when people come together, they can accomplish great things, even in the face of difficult challenges.

Drop off donations of food/hygiene items for the teen pantry or your unwanted items for the thrift store to help raise funding at 165 North Main St in Arab.

No matter if you are on a budget, or just love the thrill of thrifting... We would love to see you! If you just want to come to visit, we welcome you to browse, meet up with friends, or to just grab hold of Felicia, Laura or Kileigh and ask for prayers for whatever you have going on in your life.

Name brand items at yard sale prices! Skip the heat, the cold and the bugs and come thrifting instead! What better way to stretch your budget and what better way to help your neighbors than by donating your items to the thrift store to help those who have endured Domestic Violence, Homelessness, or help an area teen?

We will be implementing a color tag rotation in 2023 to help us clear out older inventory and keep items on the racks fresh. So stay tuned for color code sales on clothing!

Our mission is to get ahead of domestic violence, drug addiction, and homelessness by starting with our youth.

Our vision for our youth is to not only supply their immediate needs but empower them by helping them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed after graduation.

Caring Heart Outreach Goals

- Help meet the immediate needs of those who are homeless
- Help meet the immediate needs of those recovering from domestic abuse
- Help meet teens' immediate needs with food & hygiene items
- Provide a safe place for teens to serve them with love
- Help our teens develop basic life skills, and a good work ethic by having our business partners invest time and/or training with the teen leaders.

We know that helping our youth understand that it will always be OK to walk away from a relationship will reduce the chances for them to spiral into unwise life choices. We hope that by teaching them to be independent of everyone but themselves, they will not stay in abusive relationships. Those relationships tend to lead to addiction through self-medication and homelessness.
